The Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley (BGCNV) is pleased to share our 2020 Annual Report with you. It’s difficult to capture the weight and complexity of a year that demanded so much from each of us, brought unprecedented challenges to the lives of our families and required continuous adaptation. Even now as the pandemic subsides, its impact still reverberates through our community.
We have always been guided by a “whatever it takes to put kids first” mindset, and 2020 was no different. With creativity, careful planning and a little boldness, we rose to the challenges and continued providing essential support and services at a time when families and kids needed us the most. Despite nationwide shutdowns, we offered 168 days of in-person services and 54 days of virtual and curbside services, with zero cases of COVID spread.
Because of your unwavering support, we were able to stay strong in our 25th year of serving local youth. Through economic crises, tragedies, natural disasters, and now a global pandemic, BGCNV continues to adapt and evolve to support local youth and their families. Your generosity ensures that we can continue to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens.
