Cory Snively – 2002 Youth of the Year
We received this testimonial from Cory Snively; “I still think fondly of my days in the club and it was always a safe space for me. Thank you for the great work you all do, trust me when I say it makes a difference. It saved me in more ways than I can express.”
The truth is they are there every day after school for each member with open doors, arms, and hearts, and that is the true reason we are all here today.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have an amazing family to support me, but The Boys & Girls Club is my family too, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.
The Boys & Girls Club is and will always be a positive place for kids! The Boys & Girls Club is a place where all youth are given an opportunity that doesn’t come too often.
I am Vianey Serrano the 2004 youth of the year and I stand here ten years later to share with you how the Boys and Girls Club has changed my life.
In many ways the club defined me during my high school years and has most definitely shaped my life as an adult. I gained confidence, skills and a love for working with children and education that have affected all of my life decisions.
The Boys & Girls Club has been there when we needed them and had nobody. I am so thankful to the Club and the Staff that Sara is safe and they are helping her when I can’t.
