Youth of the Year is Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s premier leadership and recognition program, honoring outstanding teens who demonstrate leadership, service, academic excellence, and healthy lifestyles. Participants develop the skills, confidence, and character needed to succeed in school, careers, and life.
Programs That Empower
Through Youth of the Month and Youth of the Year recognition, Club members ages 14–18 engage in:
- Leadership development
- Public speaking and communication training
- Community service and civic engagement
- College and career readiness
- Mentorship and personal growth opportunities
Participants may advance to state, regional, and national competitions while competing for scholarship opportunities.
